Summer in The Big Apple

As someone that moved here just a few years ago there is yet so much to experience from New York; this being my first full summer here i’m trying to do as many things as possible, specially in Manhattan. Just this past weekend i got to see my first movie at a park; more specifically at Hudson River Park (Link at the bottom), and it proved to be such a pleasant experience which i recommend for both tourists and residents

Once the showing of Despicable Me 2 was over  me and my girls stopped at a spot that has become one of my favorites when i’m craving something sweet; Big Gay Ice Cream (Link at the bottom) is known for their one of a kind exotic treats like the “Monday Sunday” (A Nutella filled cone with ice cream, sea salt, and whipped cream…Simply AMAZING!) and the “Mermaid” (With key-lime curd and crushed graham crackers). A must visit for the sweet-tooth out there!

  1. The minions are awesome. We just watched the 3D version last week at home, and loved it. I bring out the kid in her, with my animated addiction. Lol. How are the speakers here? Did you have trouble hearing from your position?
